McLinton Basketball Academy was established with the name and vision of the late Harold L. McLinton. Harold was
a star middle linebacker for the Washington Redskins from 1969-1978. Harold was also very active in the D.C. community as
well as his home town of Atlanta, Ga. Harold is survived by his two sons Kevin and Darren, who excelled on the basketball
court. They share the same passion of giving back to their community. Our primary services include basketball training, strength
and conditioning, skills and mental development. We offer a host of events, services, AAU programs, clinics,
exposure camps, mentoring, and academic support to cater to the unique needs of our clients. We focus on nutrition,
understanding what it takes to take care of the body and what foods are healthy for an athlete. Our partners and staff have
a large and successful background in the game of basketball, and are eager to share their knowledge with today's youth.
With hard work, dedication, and commitment, anything can be accomplished. McLinton Basketball Academy is firmly
committed to giving young men and women the opportunity to reach their goals in becoming a better basketball player and person.
