Dan Rehr Volunteer Associate Dan
has spent his basketball life behind the scenes. Although he did play recreationally in high school and later officiate
for intramurals and a recreational league, more of his youthful involvement was volunteering. He helped with Montgomery
College of Rockville's (MD) Men's Basketball Team under Head Coach Steve Hobson. At the age of 17, Dan established sustainable
attendance augmentation programming through community-based marketing. He sold advertising, single-handedly produced
a team media guide, and developed in-game fan appreciation promotions. Thereafter, he served as a volunteer in the Accessible
Seating Department for USAir Arena, formerly the Captial Centre and the old home of the NBA's Washington Bullets/Wizards.
Eventually he worked professionally in sales for the team. These days, Dan focuses on business consulting, marketing
programs, and IT initiatives for McLinton Basketball Academy, Inc.
